Track the next concrete step
- Write down the objective exactly as displayed, including any named person, item, or place.
- Record where you last spoke to the relevant character and which route you took.
- Separate a confirmed requirement from a possible solution. A locked path alone does not prove that a particular item opens it.
- After progressing, check whether the objective changed before repeating the previous step.
A short checklist for each quest
- Current objective
- The exact task currently shown by the game.
- Last confirmed interaction
- The character or location you visited and what changed afterward.
- Unresolved requirement
- A quoted message, missing item, or location you have not yet identified.
- Next action
- One specific conversation, inventory check, or route to revisit.
When progress is unclear
Review the objective, recent dialogue, and relevant item descriptions together. Check that any external walkthrough matches your game version. If it does not, treat named prerequisites and rewards as unconfirmed rather than spending resources on an assumption.
